• Account information: Email address and display name (when registering or signing in via GitHub/Google OAuth).
• Project data: Ren'Py project files you create or upload in GenPy.
• Usage data: When analytics are enabled, we collect page views, feature usage, and session replay data via PostHog (US Cloud), proxied through our own domain.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and maintain the GenPy service
• Store your cloud projects
• Send service-related notifications when necessary
• Improve product experience

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

GenPy uses the following third-party services:

• PostHog: Website analytics. Events are proxied through our domain; hosted in the United States (US Cloud).
• Stripe: Merchant of Record (via Managed Payments). Processes all subscriptions and one-time purchases. See Stripe Privacy Policy.
• GitHub OAuth / Google OAuth: Third-party sign-in, subject to their respective privacy policies.
• Cloudflare: Content delivery and security.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your project data is stored on secure cloud servers. Analytics data may be processed in the United States through PostHog US Cloud. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Deletion

You may delete your data at any time by deleting your account. For assistance, contact us at support@genpy.org.

6. Cookies and Analytics

We use essential cookies to maintain your login session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

When analytics are enabled, PostHog may use browser storage (e.g. localStorage) to store identifiers and collect page views, feature usage, and session replay data.

For visitors in the EU, EEA, and UK, we ask for consent before enabling analytics. In other regions, analytics may be enabled by default.
